The Drama
Over the weekend my boyfriend and I were reposted on a local radio station’s page (Hot 101.5) in one of those “expectations vs. reality” situations. When someone sees a picture of a couple and tries to copy it, but ultimately fail. I completely took this as a compliment because who doesn’t want to be #goals? Well, naturally with the internet, there were a lot of people who had an opinion. People started going into full defense mode for the lovely Holly who posted and was the co-star of the “reality” portion of the photo (supes cool she has a fanbase that cares about her like that with Hot 101.5). People were saying that we were Hollywood actors, trying to sell them something and that we didn’t actually like each other – those are just some of the highlights. You can read all of the comments below.
Radio blogs: This is Holly’s epic fail of trying to look sexy in an Instagram photo. #NailedIt #JustNotTheSexyCouple…

Our reaction
As a result, my boyfriend and I were dying (from laughter not embarrassment) we thought it was the funniest thing ever that we were good looking enough to be “fake”, “not in love”, even trying to sell people something…wow! All the goals I ever wanted on a photo of us that was completely genuine. Yes, we did retake the photo a few times to make sure to get that star quality photo, but nonetheless we’re real and so much more in love than any Instagram photo could portray. Ah…I love social media 😉
On a total different end Holly was stressing all weekend that we were mad at her because of all the mean comments that were being aimed at us. She invited my boyfriend on the show to explain everyone’s side and the role the photo below had in it all.
